Makers is at the start of massive growth thanks to the launch of two new products. We need your help to scale up even faster by ensuring large employers have access to the tech talent they desperately need to grow. Your work will have direct impact on the companies we work with and the lives of hundreds of people every year.

We are looking for an Enterprise Relationship Consultant to join our team. You’ll be connecting with the UK’s largest enterprise businesses, providing them with tech talent solutions to accelerate their digital transformation. You’ll be actively consulting with our clients, understanding their needs and, where relevant, connecting them to the software developers we train, Makers. This involves helping our clients to improve their hiring and onboarding practices, helping them to be more inclusive and better at identifying talent. We don’t call ourselves a “sales” team, as we don’t believe in hard selling. We’re a high-energy team with big ambitions to grow and scale over the coming years. We’re looking for someone who’s intrinsically motivated by solving real-world problems and passionate about working as part of a team with real vision. We care a lot about training and supporting you, whilst balancing this with autonomy to make decisions and changes in the most effective way. We’re working with some of the UK’s biggest companies including Vodafone, Tesco, Ford, FT and Deloitte, to help them with their digital transformations and tech talent strategies.

You’ll have the freedom to act in a way that you believe is right for the company. You’ll have a genuine say in the way the business is run, and the environment in which you work. You’ll be encouraged to identify problems and solve them; and to seek out new opportunities and pursue them. In short, you'll have a voice that will be heard and valued.

Success in this role looks like:

  • You create your own pipeline of opportunities
  • You build trusting relationships with large companies to help them solve their talent and digital transformation challenges
  • You manage a portfolio of clients and developers with a dedicated delivery team


Responsibilities

  • Identifying and connecting with companies from our dream list - and adding some of your own - to connect with those who may have the problems we solve
  • Creating email and social campaigns and other strategies, working with the B2B marketing team, to connect with those companies
  • Understanding the challenges and needs of the companies you meet
  • Consulting with and advising them on their digital hiring strategy
  • Working closely with them to creatively solve their problems
  • Coordinating with the delivery team to ensure we provide the most amazing service to our clients

Details:

  • Location: Our campus in Spitalfields, London.
  • Salary: Dependent on previous (relevant) experience. After a year in the role, you'll be encouraged to set your own salary at least once a year (how do I set my own salary?).
